• When my son watches cartoons on YouTube or YouTube kids, some creep videos always popped out. These weren’t overtly violent, sexual, or scatological videos, but you just felt wrong. The videos involve a disproportionate amount of head-swapping, and all the story doesn’t make sense. It’s hard to figure out the intent behind them. I hope I could create software to avoid those weird videos for kids.

• On the grocery market of the USA, how to recognize different food labels is a hard issue for me. The meaning of the food labels is hard to understand by seeing it, and I should search for more information to know what it is. At first, it is hard for me to buy the thing that I need. As an international student, I got flummoxed about all those different kinds of milk, flour, egg, and meat. I couldn’t figure out the difference between “sell by”, “use by”, “best if used by”. What are the USDA and FDA stand for? 

• American love steaks. On the grocery store, there are many different kinds of steaks. How to recognize what part of beef does the steak come from? And what is the best way to cook each part of steak?
